Adventure Bound Camping Resort- located 13 miles out side of Gatlinburg toward Cosby.
It has streamside water and electric campsites that are perfect for tent camping!
Spring and Fall before the kids get out of school is beautiful! Warm days cool nights, great for a campfire.
Bath Houses, hot showers...pool, waterslide you name it.
www.abgatlinburg.com for more details.
Only a few miles from the Greenbriar Park and Cosby Park entrances.

) Just over the mountains in North Carolina (30 miles, is a good place called Indian Creek Campground. In the Cherokee Reservation. It is a small campsite very clean, has sites along the water, a bathhouse, a laundry and when you need it. The owner is very nice and answer all your questions. Talk about the big trout! There were 20 inchers in the creek and river Oconafultee. We have just spent 11 days there. It was wonderful. Not rely on GPS to get there, you lose. Follow the instructions on the website. Reservations required. It is a beautiful, enjoy!

Elkmont, Alabama is not too far from Cades Cove Road. It is inside the park and the price is reasonable, or go to Cades Cove. Sites "in" Gatlinburg is too commercial for me.
